TRYNT Auto-Define Beta
The next planned TRYNT Web Service is tenatively being referred to as "Auto-Define." The goal of this web service is to provide automated term/phrase definitions. Since term/phrase meaning can vary based on context this web service will attempt to take user supplied context into account.
While this is still very much in beta we have yet to add a public API yet. I am however very interested in feedback so I've implemented an AJAX based interface for demo purposes.
If you are unsure where to start I've got a few ideas for context/word pairs below:
- Automobile (context), Motor (word)
- Computer (context), Modem (word)
- Internet (context), DSL Line (word)
- Movie (context), Actor (word)
- Office (context), Desk (word)
- Refrigeration (context), Aerator (word)
For best results I recommend trying to keep your word more literal and stay away from concepts (still trying to work those out .. yikes) or people.
